I share the wish of running across a stranger reading one of my books. I'm almost 100% sure I would not tell them I wrote it: "Hello. Do you like that book? I'm the author!" That seems to say, "Praise me, please!" Besides, I would be afraid the person would reply, "Oh, God, no. It totally reeks. The author is a moron!" It would be so embarrassing to stand there and cry!
I also share the wish to be reviewed favorably by a writer whom I admire.
Beyond that, I'd like to make enough money to be able to pay for some marketing assistance. (Because I HATE the marketing part!!)
