July 5 Emerging from an over-air-conditioned office building into the stifling heat and humidity of late afternoon in Florida -- and feeling the daily anticipation of an evening walk on the beach.
July 6 Arriving at the drawbridge just as the light changed to green, and feeling a tiny twinge of regret that I missed the opportunity to sit on the bridge for a few minutes and enjoy the early morning beauty of the intra-coastal at a few minutes after dawn.
