E-book Review: "When Parents Text" by Lauren Kaelin and Sophia Faioli

Okay. I am a parent of a twenty-something. I bought a smart phone so I could text without having to do the one-two-three business with the keypad on a regular cellphone -- on account of my Daughter Dear's preferred communication format is texting. I bought the phone in an effort to maintain some kind of relationship with said daughter.

So. I came across this book, and downloaded it for my Kindle because I identified with the title. Within ten minutes I was wetting-my-pants laughing.  This is the funniest book I've read since Art Linkletter's Kids Say the Darnedest Things. (I'm old. What can I say.?)

I haven't  had a chance to check out the website, but the book is totally hilarious.... as well as sweet and sentimental in its own weird way.

If you are a parent of a teen-or-older kid, you will no doubt identify with this book. If you're a kid, you can laugh at the cluelessness of oldsters. Either way, it's a total HOOT.
