I can't believe another Christmas has arrived. The year is almost over.
2011 has been a good year for me. I have achieved something of a balance between work, writing and reading. I'm not writing quite as much as I had been, but I'm reading again, which has been wonderful.
My little experiment with self-publishing has panned out much better than I expected, which has been a kind of mixed blessing. It has increased my expectations, and expanded the amount of work I have to do.
I am grateful to my readers and also to the many bloggers and writers-on-writing from whom I am learning so much. Thank you.
