What's In This For You?

Hello, and welcome to my blog! I'm glad you're here.  If you are a returning visitor, you'll notice that I've renamed it and overhauled the look. I hope you like it! I do.

The word "you" is supposed to be the most important word in a blog. "You", Dear Reader, are supposed to be the focus of this blog. I'm supposed to give you something of value that you can't get anyplace else. I'm supposed to offer you something unique and worthy of your valuable time.

Some bloggers provide educational information: Writing Do's and Don't's; Links to interesting sites; Topical commentary on the publishing world. All of that is great, and I enjoy reading many of those blogs. (I have links to some of them on my Blog Home page.) I don't feel that I have the expertise to write anything like that.

All I have to offer here are my stories, both real events from my life as well as my fictional stories, if you're interested. I do this because I love stories and I want to share mine with other story-lovers. If I sell some books, that's incredibly wonderful gravy.

I'm sharing my fictional stories as well as links to other blogs that I find interesting. I also review novels and occasionally movies. My decision to do that arose from the same urge that often causes me to pick up the phone or march into the office and announce, "I just read the greatest book! You must read it, too!"

Story-lovers love to share stories. Both those we may have had the privilege to write ourselves, and those we've enjoyed that were written by other writers. Stories. That's what offer here. I sincerely hope you find something here that you will enjoy.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will come back again. I'd love to hear from you, either in Comments or via e-mail.
